and here's who won cash:

Dan Steinhilber of Washington, D.C. was named second place and was given $2,000

Bernhard Hildebrandt of Baltimore, MD won third place and received $1,000

The “Young Artist” award of $1,000 was given to Ryan Browning of Mount Airy, MD.

I didn't win money (alas, I'll have to wait for my iPhone), but I'm really happy to be in this great show. I can't begrudge the winners - their work as all great but I'd also highlight Joe Barbaccia and Molly Springfield as two other standouts.

As for me, I have two collages (remixed versions of this and this), a digital print (that sold!) and, best of all, a selection of the 2500+ postcards I've sent out over the past few years. I drew on the wall too. I also made a small book for the occasion of the opening and will post it online next week.

THANKS especially to all the recipients of my postcards who sent them back to me to have in the show.

Here's some other writing, etc about the show - I'm sure there will be more coming once the show opens officially next week.
